About us:
We are a small community who manages our talentscouts In Australia and worldwide and have been around since 6th October 2009. We are very passionate about discovering unsigned artists and bands. Please read on for our short QNA.
What is a Talent Scout?
A Talent Scout is someone who actively looks for new talent by going to gigs, using online recourses IE MySpace, mp3.com etc. And heaps more and tells everyone about it through band reviews, blogs and heaps more. It is your job to also stay in touch with the band you discover by providing support, credit for new milestones and progress, encourage hard work and develop friendships.Do you want to be a TalentScout? Would I need a qualification to be a Talent Scout?
Not necessarily. We can provide you with training if you need it. If you have you own method of being a talent scout we totally encourage you to make yourself your own boss on how you make your working experience with us the best one. Going to gigs are not compulsory but encouraged.
What are the Benefits?
You will get experience in the industry, Get to be your own boss I.E choose your own hours and what genre of music you want to do AND Get a chance to meet a lot of people.
What if I have a Disability that affects my TalentScouting?
You can tailor a method for yourself that will suit your needs and/or discuss with me to find a solution. We are very understanding when it comes to someone who has difficulty in the role and we will try our best to help you.
What if I am overseas?
No worries. as long as you got access to the internet you're fine! and you can be a local TalentScout Rep in your country.
Do you have your own Chat room?
Yes we sure do! If you have Mirc chat client click "Got Mirc" Tab and it will log you straight on. Alternatively click "Ajax Chat" if you don't have Mirc and it will direct you to the log on page. Just type in your nickname and connect.
What do I do when I need help?
If you find yourself a little bit stuck please contact me and I’ll reply back to you personally. You can do this Via this service. just click on my profile and send me a message.
